What are the Possible Side Effects?
Most common side effect is bruising so avoid taking aspirin, anti-inflammatory tablets or Vitamin E 48 hours prior to treatment, other side effects are itching, tingling or headache, all of which are temporary
Contraindications to Treatment
- Anyone with an allergy to Clostridium botulinum toxin A
- Any infection at the proposed injection site
- Anyone suffering from myasthenia gravis, Eaton Lambert Syndrome or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis
- Any woman who is pregnant or breast feeding.
