What is Profhilo?
Profhilo is not a skin booster nor a dermal filler, it is a revolutionary new product designed to remodel skin and treat skin laxity.
Similar to dermal fillers in the way it is manufactured from hyaluronic acid but unique as it does not contain any chemical cross linking agents (BDDE) which makes it the first injectable of its kind.
This allows it to hydrate and stimulate the skin and act as a dermal scaffold.
What Can I Expect?
Following an initial consultation and if suitable for treatment, a medical questionnaire and consent is obtained and photographs taken of the areas to be treated. The area is cleansed and a series of 5 injections to each side of the face is performed. One month later the process is repeated and the final results are seen approximately 8 weeks from initial treatment.
